Sendah Launches Newly Enhanced Website
Manila, Philippines March 4, 2015 - Ayannah, a leading provider of digital commerce and payments solutions for migrants, is pleased to introduce an updated version of Sendah, its online gift remittance service.
Sendah is an ecommerce website that allows migrants, starting with Filipinos, around the world to send a wide variety of gifts such as Jollibee Padala packages, Flower Arrangements, and Gift Certificates to their friends and family back home.
Aside from gift sending, Sendah also offers other Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), targeted services. Pay Bills is an online portal where they can transact with various billers, while Send Load lets them send prepaid credits to Filipino mobile subscribers. Sendah also carries TFC.tv pins so users can watch their favorite local shows wherever they are in the world.
Jeff Decena, Senior Web Developer at Ayannah and project lead on the overhaul, details some of the enhancements users can expect, “With Sendah 4.0 we were really looking to take our user interface to the next level.” He says, “The new site features a more robust search tool, easier to navigate menus, and a vastly streamlined checkout process all wrapped in a new visually engaging layout.”
Ayannah’s CEO, Mikko Perez, believes that the new site will encourage more people to try sending gifts as opposed to shipping them from overseas saying: “We created Sendah so OFWs can have better ways of supporting their families in their home country. With this new and improved site, we now have a platform that rivals the top online stores and merchants.”
The new and improved Sendah goes live on March 11, 2015.
